The WORK Continues…

One of many items in a silent auction at a local fundraiser somewhere in the American West, this set of prints captured my attention ca. 2017-2018. I put my name on the sheet with no other bidders, and it stayed that way.  I was thrilled. Not much more can be said, really -- a more complete story or vision cannot be stated.  For many years these hung at WILDs office, along the stairway going up to the conference room. I’m sure the simple but powerful message says as much or more about me as it does about the artist(s), whose name(s) regrettably did not appear. The only information was that it was by students at Colorado College and was inspired by the work of activist/printmaker Amos P. Kennedy.  So…a powerful statement of principle appears somewhat mysteriously.  I like it.

In any case, we can consider it somewhat of a mission statement for WilderWork.
